Deck overview

The Necrobloom serves as a versatile token generator and recursive engine in the command zone for an Abzan lands-matter strategy. The deck focuses on stocking the graveyard with lands via fetchlands, cycling lands, and self-mill cards like Six and Aftermath Analyst. Once the graveyard is full, mass recursion spells like Splendid Reclamation and Lumra, Bellow of the Woods return all lands to the battlefield at once. This triggers massive landfall swings that generate lethal token armies through Field of the Dead, Scute Swarm, and Avenger of Zendikar, life drain with Retreat to Hagra, or infinite card loops using The Gitrog Monster and Dakmor Salvage.
