Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos group-slug strategy built around Obosh, the Preypiercer. It accelerates into early continuous-damage permanents such as Sulfuric Vortex, Spellshock, and Guttersnipe to steadily deplete the entire table's life total. Once Obosh or alternative amplifiers like Dictate of the Twin Gods enter the battlefield, all odd-cost damage sources double in potency. Midgame spells like Breath of Malfegor, Prisoner's Dilemma, and Heartless Hidetsugu present rapid multi-target life loss that overwhelms all three opponents simultaneously. The deck leverages high redundancy among burn pieces and punisher effects to ensure consistent damage output without requiring dedicated tutors. While it lacks stack-based countermagic and defensive shielding, its high threat density forces opponents to answer multiple damage engines while their life totals rapidly decline toward zero.
