Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Pirate combat tempo and theft deck commanded by Ramirez DePietro, Pillager. The strategy opens with low-cost, evasive Pirates to establish early board presence. Casting Ramirez on Turn 4 immediately refunds two mana via Treasure tokens and turns every subsequent combat hit into card advantage by exiling playable spells from opponents' libraries. Midgame turns leverage Treasure generation from Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Pitiless Plunderer alongside draw engines like Enduring Curiosity to out-value the table. Combat damage scales through tribal lords such as Corsair Captain and Skeleton Crew, supported by life-cutting burst damage from Dire Fleet Ravager. In the late game, the deck can close through relentless unblockable combat pressure, stolen win conditions, or an infinite extra-turns combo using Helm of the Host attached to Timestream Navigator.
