Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Green Stompy list commander-headed by Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The primary game plan uses efficient, above-rate creatures such as Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Gigantosaurus to generate massive board power by Turn 3. This power drastically discounts Ghalta, enabling the commander to enter the battlefield as early as Turn 4 for just two green mana. Once Ghalta and supporting beaters are deployed, the deck leverages power-based card draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Rishkar's Expertise to maintain velocity while applying immense combat pressure. Finishers such as Overwhelming Stampede, Triumph of the Hordes, and Craterhoof Behemoth turn this large board into lethal trample damage across all three opponents by Turn 6. While vulnerable to mass exile and countermagic, the deck features strong redundancy and rapid recovery.
