Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue combo-control archetype commanded by Orvar, the All-Form. The strategy leverages cheap, single-target instant and sorcery spells to duplicate lands, mana rocks, and high-impact utility creatures whenever Orvar is on the battlefield. Early turns focus on establishing mana through artifacts like Sol Ring and Arcane Signet while holding up interaction. Once Orvar resolves on Turn 4, every one-mana targeting cantrip doubles as an untapped land ramp spell and card replacement. The deck accelerates into infinite mana loops on Turn 5 using buyback spells such as Whim of Volrath or Clockspinning targeting Peregrine Drake or Coveted Jewel. The resulting infinite mana draws the entire library through cloned card-advantage creatures, culminating in a same-turn victory via Thassa's Oracle. Defensively, the list protects its engine with efficient counterspells, bounce spells, and unique Changeling synergies like Swarmyard and Lord of the Unreal.
