Format: Commander

Commander: Fangorn, Tree Shepherd

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Fangorn, Tree Shepherd is the centerpiece of a mono-green Treefolk ramp deck that plans to cast many Forests, drop Fangorn, then generate large amounts of green mana by attacking with vigilant Treefolk. The main path is land ramp into a wide Treefolk board, then a pump spell such as Overrun to finish. Sakiko, Mother of Summer is a hidden secondary commander who copies Fangorn's combat-mana role, while cost reducers like Bosk Banneret and many toughness-based card-draw engines keep the chain going. There is no transforming commander; the deck uses Ulvenwald Captive and Dormant Grove strictly as mana/token support.
