Deck overview

This deck is an optimized four-color (WUBR) Control and Polymorph engine helmed by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary plan deploys low-cost token generators—such as Bitterblossom, Black Market Connections, and Lingering Souls—in the opening turns, followed by casting Jace or a 4-mana Polymorph effect to cheat devastating high-mana creatures onto the battlefield. The creature suite consists exclusively of game-warping haymakers like Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Toxrill, the Corrosive, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, and Blightsteel Colossus. Backed by a premier suite of free and efficient interaction (Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, Deadly Rollick, Swords to Plowshares) and robust phasing protection (Teferi's Protection, Clever Concealment), the deck establishes an oppressive board state on Turn 4–5. Once a dominant threat resolves, it strips opposing resources, suppresses creatures, and systematically eliminates opponents through overwhelming combat damage and annihilator triggers by Turn 8.
