Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Aristocrats and Voltron hybrid piloted by Super Shredder. The game plan revolves around leveraging symmetrical edicts and sacrifice triggers to clear opposing boards while rapidly scaling Shredder into a lethal commander damage threat. Because Shredder triggers whenever any permanent leaves the battlefield—including opposing creatures, tokens, fetchlands, and Treasures—symmetrical sacrifice effects like Fleshbag Marauder and Plaguecrafter generate massive counter spikes in a single turn. Supporting engines like Ophiomancer, Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, and Reassembling Skeleton ensure a steady supply of fodder, while aristocrat payoffs such as Bastion of Remembrance, Blood Artist, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel drain the table. Protection equipment like Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots, and Whispersilk Cloak shield Shredder and guarantee combat connections. The deck maintains severe attrition against creature-centric opponents through Braids, Cabal Minion and Archfiend of Depravity, creating an inevitable clock that closes games through lethal combat and steady life drain.
