Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Squirrel Aristocrats strategy commanded by Hazel of the Rootbloom. The game plan revolves around generating a swarm of Squirrel, Food, and Treasure tokens, converting them into massive mana velocity through Hazel's tap ability, and duplicating high-value tokens at each end step. The deck pressures opponents through dual attack vectors: explosive wide combat steps supported by Squirrel lords like Squirrel Sovereign and Camellia, the Seedmiser, and lethal indirect life drain via aristocrat staples like Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Apprentice, Nadier's Nightblade, and Zulaport Cutthroat. It features a compact infinite combo in Ivy Lane Denizen and Scurry Oak, which creates infinite Squirrel tokens and infinite +1/+1 counters. With robust card draw engines like Skullclamp, Toski, Bearer of Secrets, and Plumb the Forbidden, the deck sustains momentum through removal while threatening a reliable table-wide finish on Turns 5 to 6.
