Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir artifact midrange strategy commanded by Golbez, Crystal Collector. It leverages inexpensive artifacts, artifact lands, and token generators like Sai, Master Thopterist and Simulacrum Synthesizer to build a wide board presence. Every entering artifact triggers Golbez to surveil, rapidly sculpting the graveyard and filtering draws. Once four artifacts are in play, Golbez returns creature cards from the graveyard to the hand every end step, generating continuous card advantage. Crossing the eight-artifact threshold turns Golbez into a lethal burn engine that drains each opponent based on the power of the returned creature, weaponizing behemoths such as Ancient Stone Idol and Metalwork Colossus. The deck can also close games through massive combat waves empowered by Cyberdrive Awakener or Krang, Utrom Warlord. Supported by asymmetric board wipes like Their Name Is Death, the deck blends graveyard synergy, board resilience, and inevitable multi-target damage.
