Deck overview

This is a five-color Dragon tribal deck helmed by The Ur-Dragon, leveraging its eminence cost reduction and combat-triggered card advantage to overwhelm opponents with a swarm of powerful dragons. The primary game plan is to ramp aggressively, deploy cost reducers, and cast high-impact dragons like Savage Ventmaw, Scourge of the Throne, and Twinflame Tyrant to generate explosive combat phases with extra combats and damage doubling. The deck also includes a robust interaction suite with counterspells, removal, and board wipes, as well as powerful draw engines like Rhystic Study and Kindred Discovery. The win condition is primarily combat damage, often accelerated by extra combat steps and damage multipliers, with an alternate win condition in Call the Spirit Dragons.
