Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Golgari reanimator and sacrifice combo engine commanded by Meren of Clan Nel Toth. The primary strategy accelerates early mana using dense 1-CMC dorks and rituals to bin Protean Hulk via Entomb, Buried Alive, or Unmarked Grave, then reanimates it on Turn 3 using Reanimate, Animate Dead, or Natural Order. Sacrificing Hulk immediately searches Warren Soultrader, Blood Artist, and Gravecrawler directly onto the battlefield. Because Soultrader is a Zombie, sacrificing Gravecrawler generates a Treasure and a Blood Artist drain trigger, which perfectly pays for Gravecrawler's recast from the graveyard to drain the entire table in a single turn. If disrupted, the deck leverages Meren of Clan Nel Toth, Razaketh, the Foulblooded, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician for resilient mid-game card advantage, board control with Grave Pact, and secondary combo lines.
