Deck overview

This mono-blue control deck turns Samut, Tyrant of Naktamun into an uncounterable interaction hub. By granting split second to all instant and sorcery spells, Samut ensures that your counterspells, bounce spells, and combat tricks resolve without any opposing stack responses. You control the early and mid game through efficient split-second answers like An Offer You Can't Refuse, Wild Unraveling, and Witness Protection, locking down opposing commanders and disrupting big plays. The deck transitions into the late game by deploying heavy beaters and mill threats such as Fleet Swallower, Terisian Mindbreaker, and a pumped Charix, the Raging Isle. Supported by evasion from Pym Particles, Elvenking's Harper, and Wonder in the graveyard, these threats dismantle opponents' life totals and libraries one by one. The strategy pairs unassailable stack dominance with dependable, classic blue combat pressure.
