Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kaalia of the Vast is the engine: the deck ramps to her, protects her with boots and instant-speed tricks, then turns one attack into a free Angel, Demon, or Dragon. The primary path is combat cheat, with Isshin, Two Heavens as One as the hidden commander doubling each attack trigger. Secondary paths are hard-cast midrange beatdown, recursion from Reya and Angel of Serenity, and a slower artifact/control angle via Hellkite Tyrant and Farewell. The deck is not a combo deck; it wins by overwhelming combat damage, often doubled by Gisela or accelerated by Aurelia the Warleader's extra combat. Protection and mass removal keep the board clear while Kaalia generates card and board advantage.
