Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Rakdos deck uses Magar of the Magic Strings to turn high-impact instants and sorceries into repeatable combat threats. Early turns focus on filling the graveyard using discard outlets, looters, and tutors like Entomb and Faithless Looting. Magar then animates these cards into face-down creatures that cast free copies of the noted spells whenever they deal combat damage. The primary win condition loops Savage Beating through an unblockable animated creature for infinite combat phases. Secondary lines assemble infinite Magecraft triggers with Chain of Smog alongside Professor Onyx, Sedgemoor Witch, or Storm-Kiln Artist, or overwhelm the table with massive spells like Rise of the Dark Realms.
