Commander: Jan Jansen, Chaos Crafter

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Jan Jansen, Chaos Crafter leads a Mardu aristocrats deck focused on converting artifacts and creature tokens into lethal damage. The commander provides an engine that cycles between artifact creatures and Treasure tokens on tap. As tokens enter and leave the battlefield, a dense suite of pingers such as Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Apprentice, Reckless Fireweaver, and Mayhem Devil rapidly drains all opponents. Mana engines like Ashnod's Altar, Krark-Clan Ironworks, and Academy Manufactor accelerate this loop, generating substantial mana and card velocity. The deck wins by repeatedly sacrificing and generating tokens to burn out the table while maintaining board control through versatile removal.
