Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Doctor Doom is the deck's discard-into-damage engine: each combat he gives a Villain menace and connive, and every discarded land costs each opponent 2 life. The deck is built around chaining draw-discard effects, cycling lands, and Villain synergies, then using the graveyard as a second hand. Secondary paths are combat with buffed connive creatures and mass recursion. The hidden commander is Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin; the front provides mass discard and card draw, while the transform side is the deck's deterministic finisher, looping Magmakin Artillerist's ping with Kefka's draw-on-life-loss ability. Doctor Doom provides the steady drain; Kefka closes.
