Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Curse control and attrition strategy commanded by Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor. The primary objective is to deploy efficient mana acceleration into Lynde and a permanent sacrifice outlet such as Claws of Gix or Despotic Scepter. By sacrificing Curses attached to opponents, Lynde returns them attached to you at the end step, allowing you to reattach them to opponents on your upkeep while drawing two cards. The critical win condition centers around Curse of Misfortunes, which systematically tutors high-impact Curses like Curse of Thirst, Cruel Reality, and Curse of Fool's Wisdom straight onto the battlefield. Supporting stax and attrition pieces like Painful Quandary, Mogis, God of Slaughter, and Doomwake Giant suppress opposing creatures and drain life totals, while efficient counterspells and removal protect the board state until the table is drained out.
