Deck overview

This Boros midrange deck is commanded by Nelly Borca, Impulsive Accuser and focuses on forced combat, goad mechanics, and asymmetric combat rewards. The strategy accelerates into an early commander deployment to turn opponents against one another while drawing surplus cards off their battles. It uses hot-potato creatures like Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos and Slicer, Hired Muscle, alongside mass-goad spells like Disrupt Decorum and Taunt from the Rampart, to drain opposing life totals rapidly. Meanwhile, pillowfort pieces like Ghostly Prison and defensive staples like Dolmen Gate ensure the pilot takes minimal damage. Once opponents have battered each other down and exhausted their blockers, the deck transitions to high-impact finishers like Aurelia, the Warleader, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, and wide token swarms to claim the final knockout.
