The Final Avenger build by user2691446

Format: Commander

Commander: Captain America, Team Leader

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Captain America, Team Leader is a Jeskai Hero-tribal aggression deck. The primary plan is to cast Captain on turn three, then chain cheap Hero creatures: each new Hero enters with haste and vigilance, gains a +1/+1 counter, and also pumps Captain. Secondary paths revolve around consistent card advantage from Arana, SP//dr, Jarvis, and Avengers Assemble!, converting damage into more Heroes and eventually a large Mind's Desire or lethal attack. Captain is the engine rather than an infinite piece, and there is no hidden commander. Countermagic, Teferi, Time Raveler, phasing, and hexproof effects protect the creature mass while the deck pushes damage.
