Commander: Minsc & Boo, Timeless Heroes

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Gruul +1/+1 counters and dungeons midrange deck helmed by Minsc & Boo, Timeless Heroes. The core loop is elegant: the commander generates Boo, a 1/1 trample/haste Hamster, every turn, then the -2 ability sacrifices a creature to deal damage equal to its power and - critically - draws a card per point of power if the sacrificed creature is a Hamster. That turns Boo into a repeatable, self-replacing burn-and-draw engine. The deck supports this with counter doublers like Branching Evolution and Kami of Whispered Hopes, a deep dungeon subtheme (Varis, Silverymoon Ranger, Ellywick Tumblestrum, Caves of Chaos Adventurer) that generates incremental value, and a top end of massive tramplers like Ghalta, Primal Hunger and Quartzwood Crasher. Wins come from flinging an enormous Boo, combat damage from trampling giants, and dungeon-completion payoffs like Loot Dispute's Dragon tokens.
