Deck overview

This Rakdos midrange deck converts artifact generation into card flow and lethal life drain. Commanded by Smaug, Wicked Worm, the deck capitalizes on opposing artifact ramp to generate an initial burst of Treasures, then uses those tokens to draw cards whenever Treasure mana is spent on spells. Acceleration pieces like Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Magda, Brazen Outlaw, and Glóin, Dwarf Emissary deploy the commander and complementary engines ahead of curve. The deck transitions into a lethal threat around Turn 6 by pairing accumulated Treasure tokens with potent drain pieces such as Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Master, Marionette Apprentice, and Nadier's Nightblade. Extensive mass removal, including Toxic Deluge, Blasphemous Act, and Vandalblast, keeps opposing creature boards and artifact mana in check. While lacking infinite combo lines and stack countermagic, the deck possesses resilient reanimation and robust card velocity, steadily burning the entire table down over two response cycles.
