Deck overview

This is an Esper token-ramp deck helmed by Marneus Calgar, whose "Master Tactician" ability turns every token entering the battlefield into a card draw. The primary plan is to generate a critical mass of tokens - via Squad creatures, Company Commander, Birth of the Imperium, Launch the Fleet, and Inquisitorial Rosette - while Bard, King of Dale doubles both tokens and draws, and Skullclamp converts expendable tokens into cards. The deck then either overwhelms with a wide combat board (For the Emperor!, Company Commander's deathtouch) or pivots into the Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal infinite-mana combo, using Marneus's {6} ability for infinite tokens and Sanguinary Priest + Ashnod's Altar for infinite damage. Mechanized Production offers a slow alternate win.
