Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov midrange strategy commanded by Syr Vondam, Sunstar Exemplar that blends enter-the-battlefield blink effects with aristocrat death triggers. Early turns establish mana and efficient token generators such as Attended Knight and Weaponcraft Enthusiast. By midgame, flicker effects like Scrollshift and mass exile enablers like Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward repeatedly trigger Syr Vondam, stacking +1/+1 counters and gaining life while widening the board. The deck pressures opponents through a combination of an evasive, high-power commander and buffed token swarms augmented by Minthara, Merciless Soul and Marionette Apprentice. Interaction is flexible, utilizing modal removal and sweepers like Damn and Austere Command to clear opposing obstacles. An un-tutored infinite blink loop between Felidar Guardian and Restoration Angel provides an alternate burst win condition by generating infinite life and an arbitrarily large commander.
