Deck overview

This Sultai deck focuses on self-mill, land recursion, and graveyard value engines helmed by Teval, the Balanced Scale. The game plan accelerates mana in the opening turns using efficient land ramp and dorks, deploying Teval by Turn 4. Attacking with Teval mills cards and returns lands to the battlefield, creating 2/2 Zombie Druid tokens whenever cards leave the graveyard. The midgame converts this resource flow into board presence with powerhouses like Six, Muldrotha, the Gravetide, and Colossal Grave-Reaver. The deck closes games around Turn 6 to 7 using Living Death to return an overwhelming creature board with evasion from Wonder, or by sacrificing an enormous Lord of Extinction to Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord for direct table-wide life loss. While resilient to creature destruction thanks to abundant reanimation spells, the deck is vulnerable to targeted graveyard exile and countermagic against its big sorceries.
