Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Black Big Mana strategy helmed by Korlash, Heir to Blackblade. It leverages high Swamp counts, dedicated land tutors, and mana multipliers such as Cabal Coffers, Crypt Ghast, and Liliana of the Dark Realms to generate massive mana reserves. The deck uses efficient card draw engines like Necropotence and Ad Nauseam alongside top-tier black tutors to reliably assemble its winning pieces. While Korlash provides an imposing combat threat and a unique Grandeur synergy with clone artifacts like Mirror of the Forebears and Tortured Existence, the primary win condition is casting a table-wide Torment of Hailfire or Exsanguinate for lethal values. The deck features robust creature removal, board wipes, and life gain to navigate the early game safely.
