Deck overview

This is a Golgari Wolf tribal midrange deck helmed by Chief of the Wilds. The plan is to flood the board with Wolf tokens from engines like Master of the Wild Hunt, Hollowhenge Overlord, and Chief Warg's Company, then leverage the commander's ETB-counter growth and doubled Wolf/battle triggers to snowball a lethal combat board. Finishers include classic overrun effects (Craterhoof Behemoth, Overwhelming Stampede, Triumph of the Hordes) plus anthem and counter multipliers (Beastmaster Ascension, Unnatural Growth, Doubling Season, Hardened Scales). Secondary value comes from recursion (Animate Dead, Bloodline Bidding, Eternal Witness) and selective reanimation/tutoring via battles and planeswalkers. The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage or infect rather than infinite combos, playing as a resilient go-wide tribal strategy that rewards patient board development and well-timed pumps.
