Deck overview

This mono-red deck leverages Kratos, God of War to turn combat into a deadly catch-22 for the entire table. By granting all creatures haste, Kratos immediately threatens opponents the turn it enters while penalizing any player whose creatures do not attack with end-step burn damage. The deck supports this aggressive posture with forced-combat tools like Disrupt Decorum, tap-down stax like Uphill Battle and Urabrask the Hidden, and anti-lifegain pieces such as Sulfuric Vortex and Sunspine Lynx. Damage amplifiers like Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar, Fiendish Duo, and Blackblade Reforged convert Kratos's double strike into lethal multi-player commander damage. While the deck boasts efficient single-target redirection spells and fast recovery due to Kratos's low mana value and innate haste, its lack of card draw engines and nonland tutors requires disciplined hand selection to maintain mid-game momentum against heavy interaction.
