Deck overview

This deck is a 5-Color Control strategy built around Jace, Multiverse Architect as a repeatable Polymorph engine in the command zone. By omitting low-cost utility creatures from the 99, every creature slot is dedicated to an overwhelming high-mana threat such as Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, The Ur-Sphinx, or Archfiend of Despair. The deck utilizes 13 efficient mana rocks and low-cost noncreature token generators like Skrelv's Hive and Dreadhorde Invasion to deploy Jace on Turn 4 and immediately cheat a bomb into play. Topdeck manipulation spells like Brainstorm and Brainsurge tuck naturally drawn payoffs back into the library. Supported by efficient spot removal, sweepers like Sunfall, and backup cheat engines like Mass Polymorph and Proteus Staff, the deck establishes a dominant aerial presence on Turn 5 and eliminates all three opponents through combat damage and asymmetric attrition by Turn 7.
