The Legion's Punishment by beesk

Format: Commander

Commander: Razia, Boros Archangel

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Boros damage-reflection and redirection deck helmed by Razia, Boros Archangel. The core plan floods the board with indestructible or sticky "pingback" bodies-Stuffy Doll, Brash Taunter, Boros Reckoner, Spitemare, Phyrexian Vindicator, Truefire Captain, Donna Noble, Black Panther, Most Dangerous-then points a damage-based wipe (Blasphemous Act, Chain Reaction, Solar Blaze, Star of Extinction) at its own team so the reflected damage eliminates opponents. Damage doublers (Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Dictate of the Twin Gods, Insult // Injury) and redirection auras/equipment (Pariah, Pariah's Shield, Pain for All, With Great Power . . .) turn single wipes into table-wide kills. Razia, Boros Archangel is a hasty 6/3 flyer with a modest redirect tap ability; she is a fine attacker and occasional sponge, but the win lines live entirely in the 99. Secondary pressure comes from Angel beats (often pumped by Giada, Font of Hope) and grindy life-total war via Descent into Avernus and combat.
