Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck is built around Ghalta, Primal Hunger, translating cheap, oversized creatures into massive mana discounts and game-ending card draw. In the early turns, it deploys dense 1- and 2-CMC ramp before casting efficient high-power beaters like Lupine Prototype and Gigantosaurus. This rapidly fulfills Ghalta's cost-reduction clause, enabling the 12/12 Elder Dinosaur to enter for just two green mana on Turn 4. Once Ghalta is on the battlefield, the deck converts its 12 power into explosive card draw through Greater Good, Return of the Wildspeaker, and Rishkar's Expertise, or massive mana via Selvala, Heart of the Wilds. Decisive table kills are achieved through overrun finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth or doubling effects like Unnatural Growth by Turn 6. While soft to early board wipes and stack-based win conditions, its sheer redundancy, power velocity, and massive draw engines ensure resilient and overwhelming combat pressure.
