Deck overview

This deck executes an aggressive Orzhov reanimator strategy with a spellslinger control package. Helmed by Killian, Ink Duelist, the deck utilizes the commander's cost-reduction ability to discount targeted removal and protection spells down to one mana. The core game plan focuses on entombing game-ending threats such as Archon of Cruelty, Vilis, Broker of Blood, Valgavoth, Terror Eater, and Serra's Emissary into the graveyard during the opening turns, then reviving them on Turn 4 with cheap reanimation spells like Reanimate and Animate Dead. Once established, these threats generate massive card advantage, strip opposing resources, and deliver lethal evasive combat damage by Turn 7. Robust single-mana protection spells safeguard the board, while cheap removal keeps opposing engines offline.
