Deck overview

This Grenzo, Dungeon Warden deck is a Rakdos Aristocrats combo build engineered to maximize Grenzo's ability to cheat low-power creatures directly from the bottom of the library onto the battlefield. By keeping creature power predominantly at three or less, Grenzo cast for X=1 (as a 3/3) or X=0 consistently puts impactful permanents into play. The deck accelerates using ritual creatures like Priest of Gix and token producers like Siege-Gang Commander, while utilizing bottom-deck cyclers such as Epitaph Golem and Barkform Harvester to establish recursive loops with Ashnod's Altar or Workhorse. Lethal wins are achieved on Turn 5 via infinite Murderous Redcap persist loops with Metallic Mimic or drain triggers from Blood Artist and Marionette Apprentice. The strategy is supported by asymmetric stax pieces like Winter Moon and Opposition Agent, which constrain opponents' mana and search capabilities while Grenzo develops unimpeded.
