Deck overview

This mono-red Dragon tribal deck focuses on mana acceleration, large flying threats, and explosive token generation led by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The early turns establish mana velocity using cost reducers such as Dragonlord's Servant and Dragonspeaker Shaman alongside artifact ramp. Once Lathliss enters on turn 5, every subsequent Dragon spell doubles in board presence by creating an extra 5/5 flying Dragon token. The deck leverages high-impact beaters like Utvara Hellkite, Terror of Mount Velus, and Drakuseth, Maw of Flames to overwhelm opponents in combat, while Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas convert creature entries into immediate burn damage. The list excels at delivering immense airborne combat pressure and features strong redundancy among its threats. Its primary vulnerabilities are a lack of stack interaction, reliance on sorcery-speed development, and high susceptibility to mass creature sweepers.
