karlov of the blub council by planetdrool

Format: Commander

Commander: Karlov of the Ghost Council

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck executes a lifegain-aggro and midrange control strategy led by Karlov of the Ghost Council. The game plan leverages cheap lifegain triggers from cards like Soul Warden, Authority of the Consuls, and Guide of Souls to rapidly grow Karlov into a lethal threat while accumulating counters. Karlov doubles as repeatable board control by exiling problematic opposing creatures. The deck finishes games through massive commander damage, burst damage from Hatred, group-wide drain via Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, or overwhelming team-wide overruns using Archangel of Thune, Crested Sunmare, and Moonshaker Cavalry, backed by strong white protection spells.
