Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Boros combat strategy built around Sephiroth, Fallen Hero. It curves out early with low-cost modified creatures, living weapons, 'For Mirrodin!' equipment, and +1/+1 counter distributors. Once 2 to 4 modified bodies are established on Turns 1 through 3, Sephiroth enters on Turn 4 or 5. His Jenova Cells attack trigger immediately transforms every modified creature into a base 7/5, delivering massive bursts of combat damage that quickly overwhelm life totals. The deck leverages heavy protection spells to shield its board and utilizes Sephiroth's built-in recursion ability (The Reunion) to recover quickly from removal.
