Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Voltron and card-advantage engine led by the partner pair Pako, Arcane Retriever and Haldan, Avid Arcanist. The primary strategy focuses on deploying ramp on Turns 1–3 to cast Pako on Turn 4. Because Pako possesses innate haste, he attacks immediately, exiling the top card of every library with a fetch counter and growing larger with each noncreature card revealed. Turn 5 deploys Haldan or lethal combat buffs, converting exiled cards into card advantage while threatening lethal commander damage. A heavy suite of 1–2 CMC protection spells shields Pako from removal, while top-deck manipulation spells like Memory Lapse and Temporal Spring allow Pako to steal high-value opposing cards. The deck wins by systematically eliminating opponents across Turns 5 through 7 via commander damage augmented by extra combats and double strike.
