This Dimir Rat deck uses Vren, the Relentless to turn every opponent creature death into exiled Rats that grow larger for each other Rat you control. You control the board with repeated edict effects like Fleshbag Marauder, Grave Pact, and Dictate of Erebos, which feed Vren and trigger drain from Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Mirkwood Bats. Rats such as Rat Colony, Ashcoat of the Shadow Swarm, and Marrow-Gnawer provide a fast, scaling combat finish. Marrow-Gnawer acts as a hidden commander, offering an independent token engine when Vren is unavailable. The deck wins through incremental combat and stacked death triggers, not infinite combos.
