Deck overview

This deck is a Bant-oriented midrange token engine led by The Sixth Doctor. Its primary objective is leveraging the commander's once-per-turn historic copying trigger to duplicate high-value artifacts, legendary creatures, and Sagas. Backed by token multipliers including Doubling Season, Anointed Procession, and Adrix and Nev, Twincasters, each historic spell cast creates geometric board presence. Acceleration through green ramp spells sets up a Turn 5 commander deployment, followed by immediate follow-up threats on Turn 6 such as Alistair, the Brigadier, Helm of the Host, or Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The deck closes the game via broad combat overruns utilizing trample granted by Kodama of the West Tree or Shadowspear, alongside Alistair's massive team pump. While vulnerable to timely board wipes and light on instant interaction, the sheer volume of redundant token producers and large bodies provides immense late-game scaling.
