Deck overview

This deck is a green-centered, five-color midrange strategy led by Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart. The primary game plan revolves around generating tokens and distributing +1/+1 counters across a widening board. Early turns focus on mana ramp and deploying Michelangelo to start creating Food tokens through combat. Leonardo converts token generation into continuous team-wide counter distribution once per turn. In the mid-to-late game, the deck leverages high-impact landfall token engines like Avenger of Zendikar, Phylath, World Sculptor, and Omnath, Locus of Rage to flood the battlefield with creatures. Damage amplifiers like Raphael, the Muscle and Leonardo's five-color overrun activation provide trample, menace, and lifelink to punch through opposing defenses. The deck supports this aggressive creature plan with flexible board protection like Ripples of Potential and Inspiring Call, as well as asymmetric wipes like Wave Goodbye. While vulnerable to fast combo decks due to limited stack interaction, it excels at generating compounding combat pressure and resilient board states.
