Shelly Drains You by Fredrikie

Format: Commander

Commander: Sheoldred, the Apocalypse

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-black control and combo deck leverages Sheoldred, the Apocalypse to turn symmetrical draw effects into devastating life swings. By pairing the commander with forced draw engines like Howling Mine, Seizan, Perverter of Truth, and Dark Deal, the deck rapidly drains opponents while buffering its own life total. It converts this substantial life cushion into massive card advantage through Necropotence, Bolas's Citadel, and The One Ring. The primary route to victory is resolving an infinite life-drain loop, such as Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror combined with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, or Starscape Cleric, or casting Peer into the Abyss targeting an opponent while Sheoldred is on the battlefield.
