Deck overview

This mono-black Commander deck is built around Imotekh the Stormlord, transforming artifact graveyard recursion into overwhelming board presence and lethal aristocrats combos. The deck focuses on creating 2/2 black Necron Warrior artifact creature tokens whenever artifact cards leave the graveyard. It leverages sacrifice outlets like Ashnod's Altar, Krark-Clan Ironworks, and Altar of Dementia alongside recursion engines such as Nim Deathmantle and Tortured Existence. Once an engine is assembled, the deck loops creatures to generate infinite mana, tokens, and death triggers, draining the table through Marionette Apprentice, Pactdoll Terror, or The Meathook Massacre. With tutoring from Buried Alive and Entomb, the list maintains consistent access to its key combo pieces while running asymmetric board wipes like Their Name Is Death to control opposing creature boards. It functions as a resilient midrange-combo engine with potent same-turn finishing capability.
