Deck overview

This Golgari deck is a lifegain combo strategy led by Dina, Soul Steeper. The deck aims to establish an infinite life-drain loop between Dina and effects that gain life whenever an opponent loses life, primarily Exquisite Blood and Bloodthirsty Conqueror. Supported by dense low-mana acceleration (Sol Ring, Dark Ritual, Exploration, Arcane Signet) and efficient black tutors (Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Imperial Seal), the deck reliably assembles its winning combination around turn 4. While setting up, the deck pressures opponents through incremental drain engines like Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Polluted Bonds, and Marauding Blight-Priest. Interaction like Assassin's Trophy, Deadly Rollick, and Withering Torment answers key opposing permanents, while Imp's Mischief and Lightning Greaves protect critical pieces. If disrupted, strong graveyard recursion and backup payoffs in Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Sanguine Bond allow the deck to pivot smoothly and close out the game.
