Deck overview

This Jund deck is an aristocrats and token-sacrifice midrange strategy commanded by Korvold, Fae-Cursed King. The game plan focuses on generating disposable artifact tokens—principally Food and Blood—alongside creature tokens to feed sacrifice outlets. Early turns leverage efficient ramp spells such as Farseek and Nature's Lore to deploy Korvold ahead of curve on Turn 4. Once assembled, Korvold turns every sacrifice into card advantage and power growth, quickly presenting a lethal flying threat. Supporting aristocrats like Mayhem Devil, Falkenrath Noble, and Popular Egotist steadily drain opposing life totals, while Monarch cards such as Court of Embereth provide continuous damage and card flow. The deck lacks instant-speed stack interaction and dedicated protection spells, making it vulnerable to well-timed removal, but it compensates with high card velocity and resilient threat redundancy to close games between Turns 7 and 8.
