Deck overview

This deck is a Simic Landfall Midrange strategy commanded by Tatyova, Benthic Druid. The primary game plan accelerates mana rapidly during the early turns using efficient ramp spells such as Nature's Lore, Three Visits, and Exploration. Once Tatyova enters the battlefield on turn 4, every subsequent land drop converts into direct card advantage and life buffer. On turn 5, the deck transitions into its critical onset phase by deploying massive token engines like Avenger of Zendikar, Scute Swarm, or resolving Scapeshift. These permanents create dozens of creature tokens that scale exponentially with additional land drops. After allowing opponents one response cycle, the deck closes the game on turn 6 through overwhelming combat damage, often amplified by Finale of Devastation. The deck defends its engine with a robust package of efficient counterspells including Fierce Guardianship and Force of Negation, while relying on resilient land-based ramp to recover quickly from board wipes.
