Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Aristocrats Aggro strategy commanded by Ares, God of War. Ares forces himself to attack each combat and returns dying attacking creatures to their owner's hand, effectively converting combat trades and suicide attacks into repeatable card advantage and sacrifice loops. The deck pairs low-cost, self-recurring creatures such as Bloodghast, Nether Traitor, and diverse Phoenixes with sacrifice outlets and pingers like Goblin Bombardment, Impact Tremors, and Brazen Cannonade. Token generators such as Death Tyrant and Anax, Hardened in the Forge capitalize on dying attackers to build an overwhelming wide board. Mana development relies on on-curve land drops bolstered by Treasure-generating effects and cost reducers. While the deck lacks fast combo lines and free interaction, its resilience against targeted removal and steady life-drain pressure create an inevitable clock that closes games around Turn 8 through relentless combat and direct damage.
