Mono Red Ur Dragon by user8814402

Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-red Dragon tribal deck led by The Ur-Dragon for its eminence cost reduction and late-game draw and cheat. You ramp with cost reducers and mana rocks, flood the board with large Dragons, and win through combat damage amplified by enter-the-battlefield burn and extra combat steps. The Ur-Dragon rarely needs to be cast early; its eminence already discounts every Dragon while you develop. Hidden engines like Terror of the Peaks and Scourge of Valkas turn each new Dragon into direct damage, and treasure makers like Goldspan Dragon and Ancient Copper Dragon fund Aggravated Assault loops. The deck plays as a battlecruiser that grinds value until it can take infinite or near-infinite combats.
