Deck overview

This deck is a battlecruiser midrange strategy commanded by Abaddon the Despoiler. It focuses on accelerating into its commander, leveraging combat damage to activate Abaddon's Mark of Chaos Ascendant, and chaining spells through cascade. The deck features a heavy Demon tribal subtheme led by Be'lakor, the Dark Master, Bloodthirster, and Keeper of Secrets, using their high power and entrance triggers alongside Warstorm Surge to deal massive damage. Because it is built from a precon chassis, it eschews compact infinite combos and fast mana in favor of fair, high-impact creature combat and sweeping board wipes like Blasphemous Act and Decree of Pain. While explosive once its cascade train gets rolling, the deck requires significant setup time and multiple untap steps to close out games.
