Da Bears by BigP10

Format: Commander

Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-green Bear tribal stompy list helmed by Beorn the Fierce. Beorn is a 6/6 trampler who pumps other Bears, turns a creature into a Bear at the start of combat, and draws two cards once three Bears are in play. The plan is to ramp, stick Beorn, and overwhelm the table with trampling haymakers rather than any infinite combo. Cost reduction from Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma and haste from Surrak and Goreclaw accelerate the big creatures, while Unnatural Growth and Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus double the team's power to close. Beorn is the tribal linchpin and a repeatable draw engine, but the 99 still functions as green stompy through independent threats like Ghalta, Primal Hunger and Gigantic Big Bear. Token support from Dancing from Dark to Dawn and a late Beastmaster Ascension give the deck a go-wide backup when the tall plan is answered.
