Deck overview

This is a five-color Dragon tribal battlecruiser deck helmed by The Ur-Dragon. The primary game plan is to ramp (Cultivate, Rampant Growth, Growth Spiral), deploy Dragons at a discount thanks to the commander s eminence ability, and overwhelm opponents with combat damage. The Ur-Dragon s attack trigger provides card advantage and free permanent drops, often putting additional Dragons into play. The deck contains a high density of legendary Dragons with powerful ETB, death, or attack triggers (Kokusho, the Evening Star, Ryusei, the Falling Star, Atarka, World Render, Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm). A small reanimation subtheme (Reanimate, Bladewing the Risen) and a few tutors (Defense of the Heart, Tiamat, Orb of Dragonkind) help find key Dragons. Wins come through overwhelming combat damage, using double strike enablers or fire breathing effects. No infinite combos are present; the deck is slow, linear, and heavily reliant on its commander for cost reduction and card flow.
